Blind Trust

“5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)

Blind TrustSometimes things just don’t make sense. Life doesn’t make sense.

I’ll leave it at that – you know how it is.

One minute you’re minding your own business and everything is great, and the next thing you know the rug has been swept out from under you. Things don’t make sense anymore. Maybe everything seems to come apart at once.

I’ve learned through these trying times to not try to get by on my own strength. In fact, I can’t. If I can’t understand, then how can I get by on my own?

It is in these times that I’ve learned just how beautifully God orchestrates things. While you’re in it, sometimes it is an absolute mess of chaos, but when you look back, you can see the beauty that was created from it.

When you don’t understand, trust God. He understands and He is there to walk you through. Learn to see His hand in the certain and in the hard circumstances.

When things are good, trust is easy. When you don’t understand, that time can be a testing of the trust you claim to have.

God is so faithful.

In the midst of where you are right now, do you trust Him?
