Daring To Be

Yesterday I was watching a human trafficking documentary.

After about 2 hours of watching it, I realized just how often this is a subject on my mind. Sometimes we can look at something, and though we know it is not necessarily “right”, we look away or we justify ourselves by saying that there is nothing that we can do or that it is not our business to “right” the “not-so-right, not-necessarily-wrong” thing we had seen.

I believe we are all guilty of this at one time or another.

But I’ve found hat human trafficking, this is something that I would never be able to look away from.

You know that you are made for something when it remains in your thoughts, keeps you awake at night, and praying all day. Knowledge of this horrific activity in our world today has changed the way that I live my life. I research and learn as much as I can and do what I can to prevent and spread awareness. I also have a heart to help those who have been rescued to rehabilitate and to come to a recognition of redemption.

I’m daring to be everything I can to make a difference in the fight against this injustice.

“When you encounter rough terrain in life it is more likely a sign you’re doing something RIGHT-than WRONG! Keep going!!” – Lisa Bevere

I’m wiling to stand and fight. Will you?

What is it that you are called to change? I’d love to hear from you!
